Joint Meeting of SUTM & UNMC; 16. 07. 2015

We decided to have another joint meeting after 2 years. This time is with University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) Toastmasters Club!  Although July is an exam month, this joint meeting was extra vibrant and fun! The night was well-spent with all the great, passionate speakers.

The theme of the night: Mandela Day.

During the meeting we had ...

Our club president, Victor Ong, DTM,

who as always filled the meeting with humor.

president of UNMC Toastmasters Club,
Alireza Parpaei, ACB, CL.

He who revealed a bromance story between he and Victor Ong.
(What story? Scroll till the end of the post! *wink*)

our very dear Division D Director -

Sivalingam, DTM, who was the GE of the night.

As usual, we had table topics and speech assignments sessions.

TME of the night - Alagumenal from UNMC Toastmasters Club.
She did a great job as a TME.

The picture says it all. She explained clearly what Toastmasters is ;)

Table Topics Master - Shen Tze from UNMC Toastmasters Club.

His topics were very challenging yet exciting and interesting!

You may see from the facial expressions (pictures below)

of those speakers who took up the challenge ...

Then, we had the great, passionate assignment speakers from UNMC Toastmasters Club.

"Do not wait for something to happen, make it happen."

It was a very articulate and descriptive speech. Kudos!

Certainly a very good persuader. Look forward to your persuasive speech!

After all the speeches, it was time to get some feedback from our evaluators!

Now ...

This is the moment you've been waiting for ..

May I present you the ..

BROMANCE!
(or maybe not. I'm just kidding)

  1. Hi SUTMC,

Nice write up there, very pictorial. I am sure the speakers will be happy to be mentioned. This will also give a better membership experience! Keep up the good work.

By the way, TMIKL will be linking all TMC with blog presence. Visit us at www.tmikl.blogspot.com on updates on all our toastmasters activities.

    Cheers,
    Yi Kang, VPPR for TMIKL
