Independence Day; 20. 8. 2015

This year we decided to have theme days again! This month we are celebrating Merdeka so we decided to have the theme of Independence Day.

Our members were very supportive, most of them came with their best traditional wear! Kudos to all of you.

The highlight of the meeting - one of our speakers was given the title Competent Communicator! Congratulations, Competent Communicator, Shan! We were also happy that our new member, Vin Kit took up the courage to complete his maiden speech that day. Not to forget our first timers - Ethan, Hazel, Sherine and Shasvini who played the role of TME, TTM, speech evaluator and timer. Thank you all !

Our regular yet buzzworthy meeting; 06.08. 2015

This shall be one of the highlights of our regular meeting. Why do I say so?

This meeting was filled with many members and guests who were passionate about public speaking and eager to learn. There were also a few role players

who were first timers yet did well! Some of them were even "imported" from our neighbour - Monash University Toastmasters Club. How cool is that?

THE AWARDS OF THE NIGHT:

Our best table topic speaker: Ethan

Our best assignment speaker: Lee Seng Zhen, CC

Our best evaluator: Ronald Fedora

The meeting was indeed worthwhile with all the great, fantastic role players and speakers (who gave in good effort in preparing their role and speeches).

Hey, look, I see you've been reading our blog! Why not put reading aside and join us? ;)
